Contrary to the docs, as of v2.60, the 'append' argument seems to be obeyed only during filter [http://avisynth2.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/avisynth2/avisynth/src/filters/conditional/conditional_reader.cpp?view=markup#l560 setup] and [http://avisynth2.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/avisynth2/avisynth/src/filters/conditional/conditional_reader.cpp?view=markup#l627 shutdown] - not during [http://avisynth2.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/avisynth2/avisynth/src/filters/conditional/conditional_reader.cpp?view=markup#l600 frame processing] (append mode hard coded into GetFrame) <br>
