Y411 (sometimes called YV411) is a YUV color model having 4:1:1 chroma subsampling. I has 1/4 horizontal chroma resolution but full vertical resolution, with the same number of uncompressed bits per pixel (namely 12) as the much more commonly encountered YV12 (YUV 4:2:0) format, which has 1/2 chroma resolution horizontal and vertical.
