Extract a plane from the source clip.
Resulting clip is Y-only (Y8, Y10 etc. as appropriate)
Replaces ShowAlpha/Red/Green/Blue, UToY/VToY and ConvertToY8 with high bit depth support.
Syntax and Parameters
ExtractY(clip)
ExtractU(clip)
ExtractV(clip)
ExtractA(clip)
ExtractR(clip)
ExtractG(clip)
ExtractB(clip)
PlaneToY(clip, string plane)
- clip =
- Source clip.
- If specified plane does not exist, an error is raised.
ShowY(clip, string pixel_type)
ShowU(clip, string pixel_type)
ShowV(clip, string pixel_type)
- clip =
- Source clip. Accepts 8-16 integer bit depths, but not Float.
- If specified plane does not exist, an error is raised.
- string plane = "Y"
- The color plane to be extracted.
- If specified plane does not exist, an error is raised.
- string pixel_type = (same as clip)
- Set color format of the returned clip.
- Cannot convert bit depths or YUV↔RGB, but can convert from 4:4:4 to 4:2:0 etc.
