Description

A simple and fast debanding filter. See Wikipedia: Color Banding

Requirements

  • AviSynth 2.5.8 or later
  • Progressive input only
  • Supported color formats: YV12


Known Issues

  • The outer 16 pixels are left unprocessed on all borders. [1]


Syntax and Parameters

gradfun2db (clip, float "thr")


clip   =
Input clip.


float  thr = 1.2
Threshold representing the strength of the filter; default value is 1.2.


Examples

GradFun2db with default settings:

AviSource("blah.avi")
gradfun2db(thr=1.2)
